In it, Cora (Madeas daughter) and Mr. Brown (Madeas neighbor) are headed to Browns side of the family. In Madeas Class Reunion, it is revealed that Brown is actually Coras father, so he is taking his new daughter to his family. This play is actually a spin-off from Madeas Family Reunion (the play). The play begins with Browns (David Mann) brother, L.B., and his wife, Sarah, in their house very early in the morning. Their daughter, Milay (whose real name is Millie Jean), soon comes in after being awakened at her own house by her parents. She soon learns that her grandfather (Brown and L.B.s father) had died, and they need help preparing for the funeral. After a little convincing, Milay decides to help with funeral arrangements. The next morning, Sarah and Milay are talking together while L.B. is upstairs crying. We soon learn that Milay was divorced and had a son who died. But before more can be learned, Mr. Brown and Cora come in and get acquainted with everyone. Everyone is surprised to learn that Madea is Coras mother. Soon after, Will and his wife, Kim, come in. Wills overly drunk mother, Vera (singer Nicci Gilbert) comes in after them crying hysterically. She jumps upon seeing Brown, believing it was he that had died. This was one of the earlier Tyler Perry movies that I owned, then tossed, and again, re-purchased. The language is funny, not offensive - and like most of Tyler's earlier others, it's a keeper. I appreciate the humor, the acknowledgement and inclusion of God our Father, that's beyond measure to the Glory of God!! In those days when you just feel like being by yourself - this is the type of movie to watch. Here's the recipe: Mingle with a lot of grace and it's embedded laughter - You will laugh until you rock. It's not corny, I believe Jesus is undoubtably pleased!!

Tyler Perry is back with his latest stage production, “Diary of a Mad Black Woman ”. He stars in this play as Daddy Charles and also as Madea. Rather than taking.
