The Prince of Venice Beach by Blake Nelson

Robert Cali Callahan is a teen runaway, living on the streets of Venice Beach, California. Hes got a pretty sweet life: a treehouse to sleep in, a gang of surf bros, a regular basketball game...even a girl whos maybe-sorta interested in him.

What he doesnt have is a plan.

All that changes when a local cop recommends Cali to a private investigator who is looking for a missing teenager. After all, Cali knows everyone in Venice. But the streets are filled with people who dont want to be found, and when hes hired to find the beautiful Reese Abernathy, who would do anything to stay hidden, Cali must decide where his loyalties truly lie.

Venice Beach Surf School

We went surfing with Aqua Surf School close to the pier and we had a great time! I thought it was crazy in a good way from the street entertainers to the tourists all were on display all having a great time in the sun plenty of souvenir shops, food outlets and sidewalk venders we had a great afternoon thanks Venice Beach and its colourful inhabitants I did not find it unsavory in the least. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the people. The bathrooms however are horrible. Try to avoid those at all costs. Do expect to tip the people who are giving shows.

Yesterday, I had a 1. It was the first time I surfed and it was an amazing experience you definitely don't want to miss when visiting Venice beach. I liked my surfing instructor Lulu, she was very positive, funny and clear with explaining things to us. Not to mention, I enjoyed being able to stand up on the board quickly in the ocean. What I probably liked least, was the roughly 30min introduction on the sand, and wish we would've spent a little more time surfing, however, I understand that the introduction was inarguably helpful and a necessary safety measure. This activity can be a short visit or an all-day event, whatever you feel up to.
