Jesus The Way, The Truth, The Life by Watch Tower Bible and Tract SocietyThe fist step in being in a deep relationship with Jesus is by knowing Him.
This book reveals the life of Jesus and what He has sacrificed for us sinners. Without being forced He came to Earth to show us the truth face of God and bring us salvation so that we live forever with Him in Heaven.
My favorite biblical verse is Revelation 23:3-4:
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
This right here is the reason for His sacrifice because He loved us so much so that in the end we will be with Him full of happiness and contained :)
Jesus is truly the truth, the way and the life!

How many times have you heard people say such things? No one comes to the Father but by me. The highway to heaven had been closed for centuries. God did not set up the road block. We did.

This crisis would pass, but Jesus would also ascend to heaven, departing from them bodily. There is only one God and He has only one kingdom with only one entrance—Jesus Christ. Only those who rest in Christ alone for salvation will enter heaven. This message was controversial and offensive to the pluralistic pagan culture of the first-century Roman Empire, and it is perhaps even more so today. If we shrink back from declaring it, however, we are sinning against our neighbors, for what could be a worse transgression against them than to know the only way to eternal life and yet not tell them about it? Moreover, Jesus is not only the sole avenue to life eternal, but He is the source and guarantor of life itself.
