Quote by Katherine Henson: “Having a soft heart in a cruel world is courage...”
Good-Bye, Cruel World! Hello, 'Do One Nice Thing'
Courage is like love; it must have hope for nourishment. It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return but what is the most painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let the person know how you feel. Being deeply loved gives you strength. Loving deeply gives you courage. My weakness was chocolate but now it's you. Love is a meeting of two souls, fully accepting the dark and the light within each other, bound by the courage to grow through struggle into bliss.
If you find yourself here reading this, it's probably because of the title. You relate to this don't you? Your heart and kind soul is probably the only thing you feel like you've got going for you at times. However, ever so often you're told or made to feel like you're "too sensitive" or "too emotional", mainly because of how hard you put yourself into situations. Quite frequently, you most likely find yourself reacting intensely to things, regardless of what it may be. And through conditioning and re-occurrence, you've been taught and made to feel by others, that your soft heart is a weakness and that's how you see it. This is something I heard and was told by people over and over again repeatedly.

MORE IN LIFE
This is now the daft shit people share on facebook thread blob. Let me find a few things…. I saw this thread and immediately thought of one particular FB friend who posts shite the OP. Lo and behold, this turns up in my feed from her :. The infinite reenforcement of how special and good it is to be introverted is a kind of plausible, but also uncomfortable aspect of the modern internet.
The world can seem like a cruel place sometimes, but it is important not to dwell here. Instead, it is important to focus on the kind actions that take place every single moment of every single day. The more we focus on the negative and cruel aspects of the world, the more we feed into this type of energy. Instead, we need to focus on the positives and feed this energy in order for it to grow and expand. This is not an easy thing to do, especially when we switch on the news and all there is to see is terrible devastation, war, famines, and pain. It is my personal belief that watching the news can be very toxic for the mind and for the heart.
